My 100 Dreams

Following on from my post on the book I read “What the Most Successful People do before Breakfast” (click here to read the blog post) I thought it would be great to document my 100 dreams on my blog. This way when I have completed another, I can strike through the text so I can see, as well as you can see, how many dreams I have accomplished. So here goes:

  1. Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
  2. Trek through America’s National Parks
  3. Visit America
  4. Swim with Dolphins
  5. Go to watch the World Hiphop Championships
  6. Visit Australia
  7. Visit India – I’d love to go. So many say it’s a huge culture shock and I really want to experience it.
  8. Go to Nigeria – Some of boyfriend’s family are from there and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s books have made me really want to go and experience the country
  9. Go to Barbados – Again some of my boyfriend’s family are from there, and apparently it’s just amazing.
  10. Go to Thailand
  11. Go to Hawaii and do the Hula, party on the beach
  12. Visit European cities – why haven’t I done this yet? It’s pretty cheap to fly. Amsterdam…

  14. …Prague
  15. …Paris
  16. …Barcelona/Madrid
  17. …Brussels
  18. …Berlin
  19. …Rome
  20. …Venice
  21. Do a food writing course – I know I could improve!
  22. Trek from London to home – 96.7 miles
  23. Hire a Barclays Bike and go for a bike ride to a park
  24. …Cycle round Hyde Park
  25. Go to a festival
  26. Go to a camping festival
  27. Learn how to shoot food photography with a professional camera
  28. Go Quad Biking
  29. Do an art workshop/course in London
  30. Eat at Chiltern Firehouse
  31. Run a half marathon
  32. Get Better at swimming so I can comfortably swim in the sea on holidays (I’m getting there!)
  33. Do a triathlon
  34. Trek the Thames – i.e. Take part in the Thames Path Challenge (100km)
  35. Take a Belly Dancing Class – make myself get over my negative obsession with my stomach
  36. Get awesome at hiphop – attend at least two classes a week for 3 months to start!
  37. Do a barrecore class
  38. Write for an online publication
  39. Write for another online publication
  40. Get work published in print
  41. Raise in my career – Be an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Account Director… (Are they all different dreams?)
  42. Move in with Alex and others
  43. Go to a food festival
  44. Go to the V&A
  45. Go to the Museum of Brands
  46. Go to the National History Museum
  47. Go to the London Art Galleries – Tate Modern, National Portrait Gallery…
  48. Spend an afternoon rollerblading
  49. Play football in Highbury Park in the summer with Alex
  50. Play table tennis in the summer in Highbury Park with Alex
  51. Completely fill a sketchbook with drawings/paintings
  52. Learn to play tennis properly
  53. Go to Madame Tussauds
  54. Visit the London Dungeons
  55. Climb the O2
  56. Make a Birthday Cake – something amazing!
  57. Learn to Knit
  58. Be Body Happy!
  59. Design my own tattoo
  60. Go on a UK weekend away with Alex
  61. Uni Reunion weekend once a year…
  62. Go to Yoga
  63. Try Pilates
  64. Read more books – 2 in the next month or so
  65. Read ‘Chimp Paradox’
  66. Try a detox
  67. Go on a segway experience
  68. Have a few days in Bath with one of the Besties
  69. Go to Notting Hill Carnival again
  70. Go on a fitness weekend
  71. Raise money for the Haemophilia Society
  72. Go camping
  73. Do a bread making workshop
  74. Rent a paddle boat in one of the london parks
  75. Go to Winter Wonderland again
  76. Go to the Oxford Street light switch on at Selfridges this Christmas
  77. Go to Drinks Feast at Christmas
  78. Complete the squat challenge
  79. Watch the sun rise from the Duck & Waffle
  80. Go watch the recording of a TV show
  81. Do the colour run
  82. Go to France to visit family
  83. Try Oysters
  84. Try Ackee and Saltfish
  85. Learn how to make decent Caribbean food
  86. Try Kangaroo
  87. Go to a Dutch bar for work drinkies with Work Colleagues
  88. Go on a night out to the Book club
  89. Go on a night out to Cargo
  90. Do a boot camp workout with the house mates in the park nearby/Battersea Park
  91. Go to another random gig in London
  92. Go to a proper Arsenal Game
  93. Redesign my blog
  94. Learn to be more mindful and dela with my anxiety
  95. Try cooking new dishes – document on my blog
  96. Teach myself how to do nail art – and not let it smudge!
  97. Wear a cap out – Alex thinks i’ll look cool, i’m not too sure but thought it’d be funny for a day!
  98. Eat at Hawksmoor
  99. Cook a Sunday Roast for the house
  100. Host a themed house night – mexican anyone? Don’t forget the sombreros!

    I’ve done Amsterdam and Hawksmoor and I recommend them both! I love your list 😀 now I’m gonna have to go work out my own…

      Thanks babe! Do it. It’s great to have goals and a list of things you want to do so you can tick them off when done. It’s made me feel like I’m actually doing more of what i really want to do! x
