I love Christmas. The food, obviously, the celebrations with friends and family, but also the gifts – I LOVE giving gifts. I actually think I get more excited about giving gifts than I do receiving them.

I met Kim back in January at a blogger event, and we’ve since become great friends, going out for dinner and drinks, going to events together and we had an awesome night out for Halloween too. We’d been talking about Christmas plans for a while, and what we were going to do to celebrate – we both love Christmas!

I’m pretty lucky as Kim picked me to partner with her for the Secret Santa challenge withΒ I Just Love It – we had to choose each other gifts, secretly, to be delivered to other – and of course I was so excited. I couldn’t wait to pick out my gifts for Kim but to also see what she picked for me. It made me feel so festive!

I Just Love It is a gifting website offering a variety of personalised gifts from homewares and football memorabilia, to bottles of wine, golfing gifts and jewellery.

It took me ages to choose Kim’s gifts – I wasn’t sure how well we really knew each other, and each othersΒ tastes aside from food and events, especially as at that point I hadn’t been to her flat and she’d never been to mine.Β I really liked a lot of the gifts online, although a couple of the ones I liked couldn’t be personalised enough – you can only change the name on some, and I didn’t think all the cheesy sayings were really right for a gift for Kim. But I think I chose well, finally opting to get Kim a personalised bottle of prosecco and two large personalised plates with the initials of her blog for her to use when creating recipes at home. (You can see what she thought here)

When my gifts arrived at my office, I was so excited to open them. I quickly sliced through the tape, and look what I found inside…

Kim had chosen a personalised tub of retro sweets, 2 distressed finish LEDΒ letters (an A and a C for Alex and Chloe – how cute!) and a personalised bottle of Gin for me! She really does know me SO well already – sweets and gin!

The personalised tub of sweets is the perfect Christmas present for a sweet-aholic like myself. I opened the tub to find all this inside…

So many sweets! And so many different varieties which is fab. I’ve already started tucking into the parma violets (love them!), refreshers (one of my fave super chewy sweets), and liqourice wheels (so yummy!). These will take me while to get through, which is great, but they’ve got my name on them, so they’re ALL mine πŸ˜›

The LED letters are so cute. A distressed white colour, they go perfectly with our minimal decor in the flat, and when turned on they add a glow to the corner of the room, and look so warm and homely. I’ve already found the perfect spot for them, and I know I’m going to love having these on.

Kim knows I enjoy a G&TΒ – it’s my go-to drink. So this was a perfect gift, and I love the fact it’s personalised – just like the sweets, it’s all mine!

The gin inside is really tasty too. I enjoyed sipping a little G&T last Sunday whilst cooking our dinner.

The personalised bottleΒ means I’ll definitely keep itΒ to use for home decor after. Now just to see what I can turn it into πŸ˜›

Overall, an awesome set of presents which made me super excited for Christmas! Kim did so well!

I Just Love It was a great place to getΒ personalised gifts. I highly recommend all these gifts – the sweets are great for someone with a sweet tooth, the letters and so cute and would make an awesome home gift for anyone with simple decor (or even without, as they’re white, they’d go with everything!), and the gin is perfect for a gin lover.

There’s still time to order in time for Christmas too – what you waiting for?

Have you done your Christmas shopping yet?

Chloe xx
