I’ve always considered myself pretty switched on. You know, intelligent, brainy, knowledgeable…a geek. At high school, I was in the top 10 for maths, and my love of knowledge and learning didn’t diminish as I went into sixth form or university. Let’s start by getting the soppy bit out of the way as I know everyone hates to hear it 24/7, so here it is… Im pretty lucky to have met Alex, and have a BF who knows how to seriously cause the wow factor for birthday celebrations. Yesterday I spent the day at the Clothes Show Live at The NEC in Birmingham for my sisters birthday. I’d bought the tickets as a gift, but was super excited as this was also my first experience of the Clothes Show. I know, how have I never been? With my parents home, or as I call it “home, home”, being only a 45minute drive from the National Exhibition Centre my sister kindly offered to drive. It still worked out as cheaper than the train, even with the £10 car parking.
