Friends will always be the funny and love-able, easy-watching tv show that can never be replaced. Ten seasons, 256 episodes of funny moments, sticky situations, relationships, love, friendship, and story lines many could relate to, made it a huge hit with an incredible fan base. So big in fact, that Friendsfest has now sold out two years in a row! With Kim unable to go due to a wedding planned for the same weekend this year, I was lucky enough to get the chance to buy her tickets…and boy was it worth it. Friendsfest sees the set, including Joey and Chandlers flat, the iconic hallway, and Rachel and Monica’s place tour the UK. Along with this, there’s Central Perk, the famous yellow taxi, two other…

Let’s start by getting the soppy bit out of the way as I know everyone hates to hear it 24/7, so here it is… Im pretty lucky to have met Alex, and have a BF who knows how to seriously cause the wow factor for birthday celebrations. Like really! Ok so on to the rest… We love a surprise. I knew absolutely nothing about what Alex had planned, apart from which evening to keep free. I think the anticipation makes birthday celebrations even better. Arriving at North Greenwich, as I’d been instructed only 40 minutes earlier, I managed to avoid any conversation or chatter about what was on at the O2 that night. Confused at the sight of my housemate and no boyfriend, I soon realised…

I love a group night out. An evening to have fun with your friends, laugh lots, and do something you enjoy. But it doesn’t always have to mean drinking right? I recently got invited along to the Megamix games by Maximise, and got to invite 5 of my friends along too for an evening of fun and games. And fun it was! My brother was down for the weekend so he got to come along as one of my team. It was a fab way to spend his first evening with us, and he was SO good! They held the event at the Lucozade Power League in Shoreditch, a great location for team sports, pretty central, and  easy to find. They got us kitted out in…

A sport I always tried to be good at – I even joined an after-school table tennis club at school, yes I was that cool! – yet, let’s be honest I definitely need some improvement.  Alex and I went on holiday a couple of years ago, and loving a game or two of whatever they have about, mini golf, arcade games, pool, we tried a match on the ping pong table. I think the word ‘Frustration’ didn’t quite cut it for how Alex was feeling! But as my little brother was coming to visit, and I found out that he didn’t like dancing (how? I love dancing!), I wanted to book something different, something I’d never done in London, and something he wouldn’t…

I’d heard fantastic things about the Rum Kitchen from colleagues at work and some of my friends here in London, and I couldn’t wait to try it out. So when Kim and I planned one of our regular dinner catch-ups, we both decided we had to give it a go. Nestled in Kingly Court, a fab foodie location just off Carnaby, The Rum Kitchen is a cute restaurant giving off Caribbean vibes throughout. With dark wood tables, beach style wooden signs hanging on the walls, and an open bar, it almost makes you feel like you’re on holiday. We settled in at our little table and chose a cocktail each from the happy hour menu – I do love a happy hour, especially in London, as cocktails can be…
