You can tell it’s festival season in London purely by the number of glittery faces and flower headbands you see on the tubes. A couple of weeks ago, I was one of them. Normally a Wireless festival goer, being a fan of R’n’B and Hip Hop, British Summer Time sure was a change to the usual experience I was getting used to year after year. Cocktails. One of my favourite things. Pretty much on par with a G&T, yet way more versatile, with so many creative recipes using different spirits, mixers, syrups… the possibilities are endless! So when I was invited to the press preview of Cocktails in the City, the new cocktail festival set to hit London later this month, on the 29th and 30th July, I obviously had to go.
