Last year I don’t think I bought any Easter eggs. How bad is that?! Hot Cross Buns. Now that’s a different story. Hot Cross Buns are an absolute fave of mine. An Easter treat enjoyed as early as possible, right up until and after Easter. They make a delicious breakfast, served simply with butter, or with peanut butter and banana, or even with jam and strawberries! I actually love them so much that at my old job, instead of a birthday cake like everyone else, we’d have hot cross buns for mine – I’m so lucky that my birthday is close to Easter! I don’t usually head out for pizza, pasta or salad, unless I’m going to a new, super cool, restaurant which I’m dying to try after drooling over everyone else’s Instagram posts and stories – FYI, I do this WAY too much! (Obviously after family and friends – but it’s what we all do together!) So why not start the festive season as we mean to go on. We’re quite lucky as we only live 10 minutes away from the O2 Centre on Finchley Road, which has plenty of restaurant options to choose from including Zizzi, Wagamama, Yo Sushi, ┬áNando’s and one of our fave more casual places, Chop Pot. As we wanted to get the festive spirits flowing, we decided to head to Zizzi as they have a couple of set Christmas menus which looked…
