I can’t believe 2016 is nearly over. In some ways, it’s a good thing – it hasn’t really been the best year worldwide has it – but I’m here to focus on the positives. So here’s a look back at the best bits of my last year… In January I left my old job, and moved on – a step up and opportunities to learn lots more. I’ve also met some lovely people as a result. In January I also went to an event at Cowshed in Shoreditch, where I met Kim for the first time. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! Don’t worry this isn’t going to be a whole essay on how this year’s going to be SOOO much better, the changes I’m making, blah blah blah. Really I’m just continuing to try stay positive at ALL COSTS and build on everything I’m already doing, aren’t we all? So with that in mind, 2016 is obviously going to be awesome, here’s a few of the things I’m planning for the year ahead to keep an eye out for… Try pilates – I’m a HUGE fan of yoga and everyone says I should try this too. Yeah you got it. Last week I was off ill… and it really sucked! Ok so sunday evening I got a headache and thought oh well it’s just a random headache, it’ll be gone by morning.┬áBut monday it still wasn’t gone and yet I managed a whole day at work. By tuesday morning I was squinting at my computer, making silly mistakes and suffering from lack of concentration so the only thing that would make things better – to go home. Eughhh. Tuesday afternoon I slept – hmmm it was so nice, even though I was adamant I didn’t need extra rest. I refuse to believe summer is over yet! Yes I know it’s a bit colder and a little wetter sometimes, and yes it is being pretty unpredictable BUT we do live in England! We have to remember this, and make the most of the weather being a reasonable temperature to do all the summery things we haven’t done yet. Come on, let’s all think positive! And who knows what September might bring – I’ve got my fingers crossed for a spontaneous heat wave! There’s still a few weeks left yet (at least!) and lots I want to do.
