Ok, so this isn’t my usual type of post. But I feel I need to discuss this. Health is so important and I’m having this constant debate with myself. So I thought writing about it on my little space, and perhaps seeing what you all think, might help settle something once and for all…so here goes… You know you’ve tried your utmost hardest, and to be honest you’re pretty darn good at what you do, but you’re starting to think and question as to whether it’s all worth it. Yep, that’s me right now. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy what I do most of the time. It’s social. It can be fun – the culture at the agency I’m currently at is awesome…

A couple of weeks ago now I jumped on a National Express coach down to Bath to see Char,  my best friend from uni. Overdue a huge catch up, I was heading down a little earlier than the other girls so we could have some time together before the wedding planning resumed full steam ahead – she’s getting married next March. With an afternoon to explore, we headed for lunch before letting the inner explorer out and heading to explore the Botanical Gardens. The gardens were beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet. There were times we felt like if we stepped over the bridge or up the stairs we’d stumble across the secret garden. A magical place undisturbed by others. Still chatting the whole way round,…

Do we ever grow up? Really? I’m 26. Twenty six! And yet I don’t feel grown up. I feel like I did at 20/21 at uni but just with more life experience. More knowledge of how to deal with problems, tricky situations and difficult people. More experience in my career, living on my own and being independent, and how to budget. More confidence in travelling and navigating cities, networking and in my abilities. But I don’t feel older. Mariah who blogs over at It’s Mariah Jean made me start thinking about all the things I still do, even as an adult. Those little things you think grown ups wouldn’t do, like still counting on your fingers. It made me giggle thinking about them so I had…

Thrill seekers. This one’s for you. My final birthday surprise for Alex. All he knew was to wear full length trousers or jeans, sleeves, trainers, maybe a coat in case he got cold, and to bring no bag. As we were walking from Lambeth North station he actually asked if we were going to Battersea Dogs home to walk dogs. He had absolutely no idea. And his London geography was so out..you’d expect better from a London born and bred 26 year old considering he wasn’t blindfolded. Haha. Easy to find in Archibold Park, somewhere between Lambeth North and Waterloo, the postcode will take you to one of the side entrances of the public space. All you have to do then once entering the park…

You can tell it’s festival season in London purely by the number of glittery faces and flower headbands you see on the tubes. A couple of weeks ago, I was one of them. Normally a Wireless festival goer, being a fan of R’n’B and Hip Hop, British Summer Time sure was a change to the usual experience I was getting used to year after year. But with Justin Bieber playing, how could you say no? And I can honestly say, I loved it. We didn’t have to make our way through the usual stampede of festival goers to get in, or queue for ages at the bar, in fact there was almost no queue at all. Yet it was still really busy. There were festival…
